*UPDATE 5* Fakemon Contest!! *HUGE PRIZE*

No offense to the fakemon community, (and this applies to me just as much as it does anyone else), but we've drastically fallen off in the past two years or so. I'd like to hold this contest to help get the community's creative juices flowing again, because we need it.

So, here's the idea, it's very simple. Design a unique, fresh, interesting, likeable, etc. fakemon. Include typing, height, weight, a description, and anything else you deem necessary to create a likeable character. It needs to be something you can see actually being in a Pokemon game, not just some lazy piece of shit monster with no personality to it (a description which really fits the majority of fakemon I've seen as of lately). It can be basic, or it can be an evolution line; either is fine. My standards aren't even high really, they're just set as high as they were for the fakemon that I was used to seeing two years ago. Impress me. I have a ton of points I've been saving up, and I'm not going to waste them on anyone who doesn't step their game up.

First place - Sprite of entry, 10000

Second place - Sprite of entry, 5000

Third place - Sprite of entry, 2500

The deadline for entries as of now is January 13th. However, if I feel like extending the deadline would do the contest justice, or I feel as if none of the entries are worthy of winning, then that may happen.

UPDATE: There hasn't been a single entry submitted so far that's even interesting. I wouldn't give as much as 10 to the best entry I've seen so far. This is embarrassing, and you guys are my friends. But I'm not gonna pretend like any of these are any good, I'm gonna be honest. I've had infinitely better entries submitted to me from different contests I've held, and that's very disappointing. If no one can impress me by the time this contest is over, I don't know what's gonna happen. I want this contest to make me proud, I want it to raise this community's standards. You're really going to need to meet my standards if you want any prize at all. I've decided that I will rate each entry, and while I will seem like an asshole towards some, trust me, you need the kick in the ass. Deadline is January 13th.

UPDATE 2: 6 days left, make sure to get your entries in! I've seen an improvement in the entries being entered lately, keep it up!

UPDATE 3: I am extending the deadline, for I don't know how much longer. Many people are asking and I think it would be good anyway.

UPDATE 4: I've begun picking out the entries that I like, so not every entry submitted to the contest will be featured in this journal. Don't be offended, I see every entry, I am just choosing my favorites. If you don't see your entry, then that means it just wasn't my taste, but you can try again next time.

UPDATE 5: It's been six months since I originally started this contest, and I'm just done, it's dead. Sorry that no one will be getting a prize. I just don't think I've found what I was originally hoping for, and making a compromise isn't me. However, there were still some entries that I had high hopes for, so check out my favorites below.
